Champions of the Page One School, One Author Summer Reading Blitz
TMS students’ participate in One School, One Read each year in conjunction with the Governors’ Summer Reading Challenge. Reading during the summer months is one way to eliminate summer slide, as well as provide hours of enjoyment. In an effort to strengthen engagement, this year we are offering a choice as we rebrand our summer reading to One Author, One School. Our featured author is Tommy Greenwald, and he will be visiting us in person on September 13, with a grade level presentation. Tommy is an award winning author of the Nutmeg Award novel Game Changer. To support this initiative, we are offering some of Greenwald's books at a discount price. Please complete the order form, and please send the appropriate amount for your chosen book in the form of cash or check made out to TMS . Books will be ordered and delivered to your child. We hope this change will benefit all readers.
